Some say that the blues was born farm firm Dockery Dockery was essentially a plantation in Mississippi where some believe that the blues was born delta region. What we know as fact… is that many men had visited, learning the blues. Charley Patton, one of the most famous delta blues musicians of all time, grew up on a farm and has been the most popular act in the region – in fact, some say that it was the most influential of all time blues musician. For one, he was the most popular Saturday night Act all playing songs (sometimes a duration of more than 30 minutes) and that people might Mississippi Delta relate and dance, while being quite the showman (often twist and throwing his guitar in the air). Perhaps most importantly still was his musical - to name a few influence: he taught at Tommy Johnson, Willie Brown (who has taught at Robert Johnson - turn that Muddy Waters have learned more of); Son House often played with Charley Patton in 1929 and learned him (as well as James McCoy and others)... and Howlin Wolf, one of the most popular Chicago bluesmen (and main competitor of Muddy water during the 1950s and 1960s years) moved to farm the Dockery in 1926, he said, "was Patton, who began to me offside.". He took a liking for me and I asked him he would learn me, and at night, after that I could get off work, I go and hang. First record of the Wolf, entitled "My pony Saddle" has a version of one of the songs of Patton, "Pony Blues." Wiki says ...
