Exclusive: Meet Glee's Newest Recruit

Glee’s Coach Beiste is beefing up her team ahead of the Feb. 6 Super Bowl episode. Sources confirm to me exclusively that relative newcomer Kody Batchelor will guest-star in the gridiron-themed episode as Strando, a potentially recurring new football player at McKinley High.

The initial casting breakdown called for actors who were both extremely funny and “as wide as they are tall.” You might remember Batchelor from his recent guest appearance on the Halloween episode of The Middle — do you think he’ll fit the bill?
